Communication skills meet linguistic ability

The study of second language acquisition (SLA) and language testing (TE) has been conducted as two separate fields. The SLATE network endeavors to combine the two areas. The symposium is dedicated to find ways to map the development of the linguistic properties of learner output to the communicative development.
