Migration and multilingualism in Europe

Migration studies have always included an element of socio- / psycho-linguistic, ethnographic, sociological and educational research into phenomena of multilingualism amongst migrant populations, including foci on language choice, first language(s) retention or attrition amongst different (im-)migrant generations.
